This weekend, on Thanksgiving Day, Canadians across the country celebrate the harvest and blessings of the past year. In Montreal, members of the handball club Celtique de Montreal celebrate in their own special way by hosting their annual Thanksgiving tournament, Tournoi de l’Action de Grâce 2015.
This year, Boston Team Handball will join the fun by sending a men’s team to participate at the tournament, despite having held only two practices. Several teams from the US and Canada compete at what has become a great annual handball event. This year, there will be 10 men’s teams and 7 women’s teams from Quebec, Ontario, Massachusetts, New York. The games start on Saturday at 8:30am and conclude at the end of Sunday.
