The 4th consecutive season of the US Northeast Team Handball League kicks off this weekend with a record number of club and team participation , thanks to the introduction of a women’s division and the reintroduction of a Men’s Division 2 into it. The first leg of the season is hosted at the US Military Academy in West Point, NY.
Last season, the league consisted of a single Men’s division of four (4) teams, which served as the official qualifying stage for the National Championships. The teams were NYC THC, Boston TH, West Point Blk, and DC Diplomats. Those four teams will compete again this year in the Men’s D1, but they will be joined byt 6 division 2 (D2) teams and 6 women’s division teams (DW).
