Boston TH puts handball on TV in the US

Cambridge, MA

Starting in the first week of May, residents of Cambridge, MA, have had the opportunity to watch handball on TV; something that not many communities in the US can claim to be able to do. Thanks to audio/video equipment from the Cambridge local access television, Cambridge Community Television (CCTV), members of the Boston Team Handball club filmed the games of the second Northeast Team Handball League tournament. The tournament was hosted at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center on Cape Cod.

The games were broadcast live on the Boston Team Handball website, via UStream.tv. The games will also be playing on the local channels of CCTV a couple of times a week, for the next few weeks. More than 300 unique viewers from over 13 different countries watched the games at different times during the long handball day that included 6 games between the 4 teams in the league: Boston TH, New York City THC, DC Diplomats and West Point (USMA).
