The Swim and Sports Club in Flanders, NJ, held their annual sportsfest outdoor handball tournament this weekend. Five men’s teams and 3 women’s teams took part in the event.

On the women’s side, all teams played each other in pool games at the end of which Carolina ranked first, the Boston/DC team combo rankedsecond and NYC third.
On the men’s side, the pool play ended with DC taking the lead in the group topping NYAC due to goal differential. Boston ranked 3rd in the group and Carolina 4th. Crossover games followed the pool games in which Carolina defeated DC and NYAC edged Boston in a close game. In the final, NYAC came out first with Carolina taking second place. Boston was awarded third place based on the team’s performance, although there was no 3rd place game between DC and Boston.
For the second year in a row, Boston THC returns home with a trophy and lots of fun and exciting memories from the oldest continuous annual handball tournament in the US.
